Smoking Shields was founded in 2015 as a fraternal organization of active and retired law enforcement and military members who share a passion for premium cigars and a commitment to helping our nation's heroes.
Smoking Shields provides financial help to law enforcement, the military and their families, including support for Operation: Cigars for Warriors, which gets cigars to the brave men and women serving our country.
The Suffolk County Chapter brings that brotherhood to Suffolk County, Long Island.
The Suffolk County group became a Lodge of Smoking Shields in September 2023. Through the dedication of its members, it grew steadily in membership and community impact.
In July 2026, it became the first Lodge to become a Chapter, incorporating on July 28, 2026 as Smoking Shields of Suffolk County New York Inc. Today we proudly serve as the Suffolk County Chapter.
