Michael Baker

Michael started with the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office in 2004. He spent a majority of his career on midnights. He spent a year as the HALT officer in both Riverhead and Yaphank and the last year in the IT department, handling inmate communications. Michael is also an Army Veteran, being deployed to Bosnia in '97-98 for Operation Joint Guard with the 423rd MP Co. Michael joined the Smoking Shields in 2017 at the annual Pig Roast. He became the President of the newly formed Suffolk County Chapter. Michael is married with 4 daughters and 1 grandson.
